Heating and Hot Water - Fairbanks

This class will introduce the consumer to modern choices for space and water heating in residential structures. It primarily covers common natural gas- and oil-fired systems; alternative heating systems are introduced. Principles of combustion, combustion safety, and fundamentals of building science are addressed. Heating systems, sizing considerations, efficiencies, and combustion venting are covered at a level suited for the average homeowner. Basic control systems are also introduced.
