Alaska Craftsman Home Program developed Northern Comfort for the two-day Advanced Cold Climate Home Building Techniques Workshop. This course follows the Northern Comfort manual and is intended to provide students with techniques for building and maintaining a quality home that operates as a system with greater comfort, durability and long-term energy efficiency.
This course meets the State of Alaska Division of Occupational Licensing educational requirements that qualify general contractors to take the state Residential Endorsement exam, or contractors holding a residential endorsement can obtain 16 hours of Continuing Education Credits.
